Not something I was expecting (or asked for) but I was awarded emeritus status club membership at last Wednesdays meeting.

Thank you to the executive and all the club members that supported them. Much like the Sportsmanship award, which is earned from ones peers and cannot be bought, the distinction is appreciated.

Of course this also proves that if you hang around long enough someone will 'throw you a bone' ;D

Keith, you absolutely deserve the Emeritus status. Your continued labours at our track may not be obvious to everyone, but anyone who spends time there should be personally thanking you for the countless hours you put in. The bushes would have taken over the facility long before now if not for your constant personal attacks on them! :D
