WORK PARTY ANNOUNCMENT

We are planning to have our first official work party of 2012.

Date: 18th Feb
Time: 9 am
Where: at the track

We would appreciate any one who can come out and pitch in with some of our projects.
Of course you will be given track credits for your efforts, a free lunch, and lots of thanks.
***We would ask that you email us if you think you will be coming out. This will help us to plan the projects and lunch etc
.
If you want to bring any tools or equipment out such as rakes, shovels, etc, that would be helpful. We have some, but probably not enough for every one.

Some things that we plan to work on are:
Placing patio pavers at the outside edge of T9. We may also be spreading topsoil and seeding grass there too.
Al Cruickshank will be supervising this area and will need 2- 3 people for that.

We will be building/repairing tire bundles. Tim and Roland will supervise.

We may be constructing a turn worker station or two.
Al Harvey is our expert from last year, and he will need a couple of helpers for sure.

There is some carpentry work to be done in Timing and Scoring.
Keith will head up this.

We would like to string some new wire for the PA. Al/Norm to oversee this.

And of course there is always the every growing Blackberry bushes etc. Keith has already knocked them down quite well, but there are still a few areas that may need more attention.

So come out, have some fun with your fellow club members, break a sweat, and enjoy a free lunch and some race credits for your efforts.
