The software on this forum does not allow one to use all capitals in a heading or even in one word. That's not a good thing. What use is it if we can't express ourselves?

So, how do you explain the use of all capitals in the heading on the SCCBC webpage?

The website software is totally separate from the forum software.  Plus, the SCCBC logo is a picture and not text.

Beats me, but when I attempt to use a word with all caps it's rejected. I guess I'm just asking.

As a person who does some writing, I do know the difference between a picture and text. Have a look at the text and try again. Wink Wink

It's not a big deal, so there's no point in becoming upset.

There is a forum setting which doesn't allow all caps. I'll have to look for it again but I think it's set for 8 characters in a row, or somehing like that. I'll bump it up when i find it.

Generally on the internet using all caps is considered screaming, so that may be why the settings limit the number of allowable caps. If you know how to use the forum tags (see Help: http://www.sccbc.net/forum/YaBB.pl?action=help#Replying_to_a_Post) there
are
lots of other ways to emphasize your
point.
Admittedly from a formatting standpoint I do understand Mike's point of view on this however.

I have been attempting to post the following under the "General Heading" without success.

The latest SafeisFast deals with defending you position.

http://go.safeisfast.com/DefendingYourPosition

I hope it's useful.

Now, I'm normally fairly computer literate, and can make most things work. This software either doesn't like me (specifically) or it doesn't work. Whatever the software connected to this forum is, it ain't user friendly.

It cannot be just me that's having problems with this.

I think I'll just stop posting here and then I won't get so frustrated.

Hi Mike . I read all your posts and would miss your contributions if you were to stop posting. It would be a loss for all, as you always post very informative stuff...keep it up  Smiley

I had never been to the "Safe Is Fast" website and now it's bookmarked. Thanks!
