Northwest FC Race
Jul 20th, 2015 at 11:05am

Great to see so many FC cars running together this weekend. They all said they would like to see this as a annual event on the calendar because they had a good time.
A big thanks goes to Brad Law for welcoming the NWFC group with a Saturday evening BBQ dinner that was extended to all the Open Wheel group.
And to end the weekend Brad Law Finish on the Podium in Third Place it couldn't have been any better than to see Brad finish the weekend in Third place car running well no brake downs. Smiley

Thanks Brad we had a lot of fun Kiss

Alan

Well said Alan. Sccbc would also like to thank Brad for hosting the F C. Group it certainly added to the experience of the drivers who came out to this event and hopefully word will spread that this is the event to attend. We were hoping to have a larger entry for the race and with the high attrition rate the field was a little light. With a bigger lead time and a sponsor for the race next year we could see a much larger grid   something to work on for next year!

On behalf of the NWFC I would like to say thank you to all involved as it was a great weekend for all that attended.

We definitely plan on being back next year and will bring as many FC drivers as we can find. (Or as many of the FF guys as we can convert  Wink)

For the attrition maybe we can move the feature race to Saturday as with a rough track and an openwheel car it can always get a little thin near the end of a weekend.

A special thanks to the Vee guys as their where some worries about closing speeds but everyone up and down the grid said how great you where with point by's and racing room. Hopefully we didn't get too much in the way of your races as well.

Thanks again,
Roger

Aside from getting split by that pack of three continentals on Saturday, from my perspective everyone was respectful and careful with their passes. It's a shame that some cars didn't make it the whole weekend, but I guess that's all part of racing!  Wink
