Due unexpected delays and to family events conflicting with the racing schedules right now the first race I'll be to attend is the BCHMR. 

I might be able to do Practice day 2 (before the Conference weekend)to get some seat time and check out the car.  The Motorosportreg page says the car must have a current logbook, does that mean Tech for this year? I do have a race license and a log book for the car (last tech year 2016), but haven't done tech for the car for this year. 

Being on the Island means getting to the track just for Tech is not practical.
