Discs on Vees!

I'm hearing rumours of discs on FV's, tell me it's not so!
Soon as I get a Vee someone wants to 'move the goal posts'!

The rule takes effect January 1st I believe.

Just something to sink more money into, but definitely not necessary to run competitively. I have no trouble locking up with drums, don’t need to spend 2k+ USD to do the same thing  Roll Eyes

While it is true drums are just as good (maybe better) initially or at slower speeds, the difference in rotating weight and cooling will give the discs an advantage. The reason O/W cars run lighter wheels is to reduce unsprung and rotating weight.
I predict the discs will have a significant late race advantage!
I hear that Veracins says lap times are similar, but over how many laps?
