Looking for a painter or paint booth
Jan 31st, 2019 at 5:21pm

I'd like to throw a fresh coat of paint onto my race car in the next month or two.  Does anyone in the Mission area have a paint booth they'd be willing to rent or perhaps better still, is there someone local who would do a Spec Miata quality paint job for me.

Thanks,
Rod.

FYI - You can get a decent quality paint job with rollers, check out "my $50 rutsoleum roll-on paintjob" on the Meguiar's forum. I am very satisfied with the results but it does take a lot longer than spraying because more coats with sanding in between are required if you want it to look good. So it's a legitimate option for the OP to consider.

Someone after my own heart, however as Stan would know I'd never bother with all that sanding stuff  Wink
