Formula 1600 questions
Jul 11th, 2019 at 4:59am

  I am running a 85 Van Dieman Formula Ford out of Gimli (GMP). And thinking about making the trip out to enter your season final at Mission Oct.12/13. A couple questions;
-Is an onboard fire suppression system mandatory? (SCCA is mandatory but under WCMA only recommended)
-That weekend also has vintage scheduled. If I put a set of Vintage AVON treaded tires, could I also enter the Vintage race. (asking as some groups require outboard suspension on one end at least).
-My WCMA (ASN/FIA) Race licence is accepted?

FF is the class in CACC. Car must be prepared to the current SCCA rules for FF. On board fire system is required under these rules.

   Thanks for confirmation. Not the answer I wanted though. There is much more room in the car with the bottle removed. Perhaps I can reposition it.

The FF group are running American Racer tires as spec tire for Mission. The vintage group run together with the FF group so no need to switch tires.
If you need help with gear ratios give me a call will gladly help.
