I wanted to be able to tow my Formula Ford with the Audi A6 I had at the time and park it in my garage so I had Express Trailers in Parksville modifiy one of their products by adding adding 2 feet to their "Smart Car Hauler" http://www.expresstrailer.ca/trailers/car-haulers/ . This is a dual axle trailer that is rated to 3000 lbs (no brakes required) and only weighs ~650 lbs. With a formula car that makes for a tow weight of ~1600 lbs easily handled by midsize car or SUV.

I'd estimate total mileage at less than 2000 miles
