More big news - after many years at the Coquitlam Best Western, we are moving our meeting to the Executive Inn, also on North Road. Our meetings have gotten larger over the past couple years and we have just grown out of the space available. Our banquet was held at the Executive Inn last November, as many of you remember, and will be held there again this year. Plans are being made already for the banquet, which will be held in the Ballroom, so I'm sure it will be spectacular.

You will notice that the Race Announcement for the first race is included in this Pit Pass. This is a not so subtle hint that we cannot and will not be so lenient with late entries this season. We must enforce the late entry penalties because of the transponders… Enter early, in fact, enter the whole season at once and save a lot of time !!!

Another month and still more changes to track plans, delays and some frustrations...BUT we have gone through the required hoops for the city, met with the biologist and received his recommendations regarding the fish habitat, made changes to the scale drawings, submitted those to BC Custom Car , etc. etc. etc. I am sure that we will be paving soon now

You may have noticed that we have gone ahead and changed our web address to www.sccbc.net After several years of enjoying a sponsored site, we registered our domain name and so now will be paying for the site to reside on the server. Pacific Interconnect has been a strong club supporter for a long time, and we thank them for getting us started and sponsoring the costs of our website for so long.. Another thanks to our webmaster, Doug Willoughby, for his efforts on behalf of the club. You don't realize how much work Doug does "behind the scenes" for us...Doug will stay on as webguru, his new email is webmaster@sccbc.net

Anyone for a SCCBC Sedan Race at the 11th annual Molson Indy Vancouver ??? We are close to an agreement (yes, this early) to stage yet another sedan race, we already have some sponsorship signed up...BUT - I need help for this race - without someone stepping forward to steer, this
