The shoulder belts on my formula car mount to a horizontal frame member that runs between the legs of the roll bar hoop.  But the mounting points are further apart that the recommended 150 mm maximum.  The easiest way for me to remedy that would be to simply loop the belts around the frame tube, but it's not clear to me from reading the regs whether or not that would be considered legal.  I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on that.
