Had a great weekend at Shelton "THE RIDGE"
It was the best track I have driven on. So much fun and lots of ups and downs.

There were 260 entries (approx 180 cars). the paddock was overfull despite a good attempt to fit everyone in. The track is a very good driving track and is a hoot to drive. elevaton changes and blind crests (glad I did the Friday practice day (90 cars attended). as a racing track, there are limited passing areas, you have to be a bit creative and bold. There are some pucker factor areas  :o . Every off road excursion was accompanied by a cloud of dust (the grass is growing in). As one may expect of a new facility, it was a bit rustic for amenities, food vendors were great! good variety and they were there early and stayed late. Highway travel traffic brutal on the way there and back. Schedule your travel time carefully. But as Dood said, this is a must do. You know things are just going to get better when the track owner is out there racing with you.

The in car videos do not accurately display the elevation changes. the ups and downs are steep!

-Lots of fun when you are in the lead.
-As racestec says it is a bit hard to pass on, as there
  are lots and lots of corners and fun elevation.

YA , trail braking down into that corner is a bad idea, LOL
