Title: 280Z GT2/3 Post by Okanagan Trip on Apr 28th, 2013 at 2:52pm
FS: 280Z GT2/3
Last raced in 2009 in GT2 @ Mission. Since then SCCA has allowed the L28 into GT3, so that can be an option as well. (You'd have to build a 33mm SIR box) CACC logbook. Comes with: 2 Engines, Mild and Wild Mild: L28, Flat top pistons, N42 Head, Street cam, Alum Flywheel and Centerforce DF clutch. Runs on Chevron 94 pump gas and is currently installed in the car. Wild: L28, 13.5:1 J&E pistons, E31 head, Carillo rods, full race cam, Twin disc 5.5 "10000 RPM" brand clutch, obv need good gas for this one. Induction: 3 double barrel 44mm Mikuni carbs, c/w jetting for both motors. Tranmission: 5 speed (installed), plus a couple of 4 speeds as backup Rear end: R200, 4.375:1 w/Nissan clutch type limited slip (installed), R200 3.9:1 welded (spare) Wheels/Tires: 4 15x7 gold mesh wheels w/ 23 x 9 Goodyear slicks, 5 15x7 Eagle alloy w/ 4 ancient rains (best used for moving car around) Brakes: Wilwood all around, Superlite calipers and 1.25" vented discs front and Dynalite rear with .75" vented discs. Wilwood pedal assy with remote reservoir masters. No problems stopping this car! 15 Gallon Fuel Cell Plus much more including a full spares package. I fired the car up a week ago with no issues. You'll still want to give a good going over though, since it hasn't seen a track in nearly 4 years. At a minimum it will need new seat belts (over 2 years). Oh wait, can't forget - Includes single axle open car trailer. 3500 lb axle, electric brakes, LED lights, 7 way RV plug, less than 1000lbs. I pulled this combo with a V8 Dakota, no problem. Price: Asking $14,500 Car is located in Penticton in the Okanagan. If there seems like enough interest I'll look at bringing it down to Mission on one of the race weekends. PM me or send me an email: z r a c e r "a t" shaw "doht" ca (remove spaces) Regards, Ian |
