I hope it's as historic as they say..! Lots of rumours about Laguna Seca, and where there's smoke, there's fire. They've already announced in fastrack that the plan is to switch tracks every year (as opposed to 5 years at road America..) and pick a west coast track every 3 or 4 years.. Sounds reasonable! The east coasties weren't too excited, though.

2014- Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
2015- Daytona International Speedway
2016- Mid-Ohio

Sweet! It's probably the closest the Runoffs will be for a while.. Don't think there are any other tracks further North that could hold that many people (well, there are some that doubt Laguna has enough room either..).
