Title: Pit Pass withdrawal?

If you are missing the Pit Pass, as I do and would like to read some interesting and even relevant articles about local motorsport try META's MAYDAY.
Articles this month; New track in Oliver, Tracy Hazard news paper write up, Ice race video, Mission Soapbox Derby,Indycar etc.

Like others, I miss the PitPass. The website, for many reasons, isn't kept up to date as it could be. I have no issue with ads for Mazda, but that's not news.

Read a few of the earlier Maydays and I'm sure the September edition will be available soon ;).
Off course if you were a META member you would have each month sent to you by email, like I do.
Without the PP if you can't get to the SCCBC meetings (which is 90% of club members) then you have no other way of 'keeping in touch' with club business or racing at MRP. :(

Except of course through the meeting minutes published on the website.

Its the same no matter which club you belong to Keith sometimes you have to put a bit of effort but you can always find most things on this forum for instance , if you don't see it , ask . someone will give you 2 cents worth . at least with this forum people are on it . I am personally fed up with the muck slinging and back stabbing  I am seriously considering cricket or something . but thats my 10 cents worth

We have an entire section of the website entitled "Pit-Pass Blog" that is anxiously awaiting content.  The Exec and Webmaster are very busy looking after many other things and so if you have the time to write some content or send along articles you think may be of interest to the membership, please, be part of the solution and lend a hand.  Submissions can be sent to secretary@sccbc.net for review.

Any news we post on the website in the News section, will be significant club news that needs to be shared.  For the most part there isn't a whole lot of that in a year.  General club business is not news and can be found in the meeting minutes.

Interesting link; I'm a regular user of the SCCBC website and I had no idea the minutes were 'buried' under 'About', 'Executive', 'Publications', not exactly in your face communication! Then it was not exactly riveting reading and had at least two mistakes that I noticed. Communication has never been one of the clubs strong points.
Bob, I have a set of cricket pads, a bat and ball my brother left me when he retired, let me know if I should bring them to the next race ;D.

There's a link going on the main page for the Minutes. Should be there shortly.

Yes! And that got me thinking its been a long time since we raced each other, so we could fix that real quick if you buy a Chevy or something when you sell those Hondas!

There is now a Publications link on the right side of the main page. The Club Constitution, ByLaws, and meeting minutes are all posted there.
