Great job Burton on defending vs Curt, it was an intense battle for IP3!

But Bob told me that FVs were really just F1 cars with slightly strange sounding engines.  :)

Thanks for this, Ellis. We all appreciate this very much. I'd like to second Alan's request for more open wheel (Formula Ford, 2000, Libre, etc) with some aerial coverage. Beggars can't be choosers but there is very little open wheel footage, and almost no Formula Ford or faster open wheel.

Doug, I could be wrong, but I think these videos were sort of made to order.. If I understand things correctly, Andrei Kisel and some of the closed wheel guys are making the videos for the racing.ca website. I think the FART fellas might have made a deal to shoot the invitational. But yes, more footage of open wheel would be fantastic! And I'll pitch in some bucks if it helps cover the costs!

Saturday Sept 14, 2013, Closed Wheel 2, Race 1 - Mission Raceway - with AERIAL FOOTAGE has been posted!

Some pretty daring action in this one.

Re: Open wheel
We'll see what we can do. Some footage is available.
If you have on-board video to contribute, then we can think about which events are possible to make.
There is no operator footage for OW (and thus no announcer), but the track cameras were rolling, so there is some hope.

The Sept 14 CW video is fantastic, very professional. Well done, boys.

Please check out the Aerial Highlights "cinematic feature" we've made for the banquet.

Its a compilation of the best aerial shots from the last CW race of the season.

Thanks to Ronin's RC Freehold for coming out,
and great big thanks to Dino for inviting them.

There's been some confusion as to the aerial credit:

Ronin is an RC enthusiast with his own YouTube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/warderseeker

Dino (Driver of BMW #99 in team with David DelMonte) asked Ronin to come out to Mission,
which he did (along with a few friends) as they are always looking for cool places to fly their quadra-copter video rigs.

We (Andrei and Ellis) outfitted a better camera on the quadro-coper and did stabilization and color on the footage.
Ronin did the piloting (and managed to get all the shots we were hoping to get out)

Credit goes all around :)

P.S. "Saturday Sept 14, 2013, Closed Wheel 2, Race 1" was paused for the Highlights Feature to be made first, it's in the works now.
