I viewed that listing yesterday looks like a great deal.
To bad I am a bit nervous of hitting someone or some thing in an open wheel car, a little old and have been away from full size race cars for some 20 years. If you find a good sedan let me know I am thinking of getting back behind the wheel but want to start slow and cheap. I hope this doesn't make the closed wheel guy's nervous ;D |

Al has sold his MGB but John Carroll's beautiful '72 Mallock Mk2 is still for sale on the VRCBC web site.(www.vrcbc.ca) Just a suggestion. :)

I love the Donohue quote!
I have a 90 Honda Civic for sale, perfect for driver training and novice races (it won't leave much rubber out of the corners!). $3500 ready to race. |

Thanks guy's for you input, the Mallock may be something I would look at once I get a few hundred laps under my belt. The Honda of Keith's may be more my speed at this time. I do have a 89 Corolla GTS that is stripped and was going to be a Hornet for my kid's for oval racing. The car is at a point where it could go either road racing or oval. I will probably use it for drivers training, not sure how it would do in IP3. With only 115HP it would be light!!

Rent to buy is available for the Civic ;).
GTS's used to run in IP3 but no more as they aren't competitive in the class. (There is a minimum weight in IP3). |

Thanks Keith, good to know the Boy's will be happy to keep the GST as a Hornet. They ran quarter midgets for 8 years and only know how to turn left LOL.

I raced at Agassiz Speedway in Mini Stocks for 11 years and Hornets for one year. I really enjoy oval track and would recommend it to anyone who wants 'wheel to wheel' experience (and a little door to door too ::)!).
