Yesterday, as I was driving down to work on my Van Diemen...

...I came up alongside a blue Subaru BRZ...

...and on its rear side windows it was sporting the numbers "21".

It was one of the guys who took driver training, and my FF is blue and 21.

So I rolled up beside him at a stop, and confirmed that it was the same guy driving as had taken driver training, and after a brief exchange (and here's the important point)...

...he asked me if there was a novice race "this weekend".

He didn't seem to understand that there were novice races every race weekend. So we need to make sure that our potential new racers understand when they can get on track.

Hello everyone. This fellow was my student. He may have been confused but met be even more confused if he shows up as I think he was inquiring if there was a lapping group that he could run in. Maybe we can snare him into turn working.
