Vintage is talking about a 25 year rule but you might have trouble producing a 1985/7 CRX tube frame racer log book ::).

1988+25: will you have the log book in time for the 2013 season ::) ???
I guess the first question should be; will your 'vintage' car be finished (sorry, 'restored') by then ;)?

Not likely. The car has to be period correct. When was the first V-Tech available?

1983 ?

VTEC, the original Honda variable valve control system, originated from REV (Revolution-modulated valve control) introduced on the CBR400 in 1983 known as HYPER VTEC. In the regular four-stroke automobile engine, the intake and exhaust valves are actuated by lobes on a camshaft. The shape of the lobes determines the timing, lift and duration of each valve.

1990 NSX was the first VTEC engine in Canada I believe; the car also had the first electric motor power steering I'd ever seen!
