Title: Vintage?

Did I hear that the Vintage rules might be relaxed for the Historic race this summer? Can a 30 year old Trans Am join in? Just for fun, of course...

Why don't you contact the Vintage group and ask them?

Vintage is a separate "discipline" from the regular CACC race discipline. Mark Brown is the Vintage race director for CACC, so you might direct your query directly to him. It might save you time as I don't believe he monitors this forum.

I believe the exact eligibility requirements for this year's HMR are still being decided.  I can't comment on the specifics, but there is definitely a movement to make it more "inclusive."

Note also that eligibility for the regular REVS events is not the same as eligibility for the HMR.  But VRCBC has instituted an annual review of eligibility, with an eye toward ensuring that it remains relevant to the needs of the day.  If by 30-year-old Trans Am you mean a 1982 model then it would not be eligible for REVS as it now stands.  But it could well become eligible.
