This was brought up at the last CACC AGM meeting a few weeks back. Safety item like this are under the control of the CACC executive. Please lobby the members of that exec to make changes to follow SCCA and conference in aligning the seat belt rules with those sanctioning bodies. The 2 year rule now in place for SFi approved belts in my opinion is a money grab by the manufactures of the belts. I have expressed my opinion already. Please contact you race director.
