1973 MGB - Fully Race Prepared

Built from frame up to CASC and SCCA specs. Engine built to Peter Burgess specs. 1850 cc engine, balanced and blue printed by Journey Racing. Ported and polished "big valve" head. HS6 SU carbs. Competition sized radiator. Shadbolt custom cam. Pertronix electronic ignition. Custom cooling system for engine coolant and oil. Clutch assembly, flywheel, drive shaft: balanced. Slotted/vented front brake discs. Watts linkage keeps 100% of the side-load off of the rear springs and bushings during cornering. Rear axle traction bars prevent axle housing "wind-up" during acceleration and braking. Racing spec'd10L fuel tank. Fire suppression system. Also included is a dual axle hauling trailer and full pit-canopy. This car has participated in only four races. It has been stored with loving care. Many more features and spare parts, including general and specific repair manuals, books on custom tuning, and records of the car's rebuild. This MGB is ready to go racing. Currently located in Port Alberni. Reason for selling: Owner is moving to New Zealand (right hand drive over there). Asking $20,000 OBO.
