Yes we are in the Daytona 24HR 2011

New 2011 3.8 Porsche Motorsports Motor, top speed is about 8mph higher and more torque. New gearbox and slightly different body work with same paint scheme.

Tires this year are Continental.

SCCBC and CACC decals on board.

Driver lineup a bit different,

1 Canadian, 2 American and 1 British.

Darryl O'Young    http://www.darryloyoung.com/

I noticed that Chris Cumming is also entered driving an RX-8 along with another driver from White Rock who I don't know, Taylor Hacquard.

Taylor went from go karts to US formula car scene by passing the local racing. The family is involved in local car dealership . sounds familiar, hmmmmm.

Chris is one of the best people I've had the pleasure of meeting in this sport, a true gentleman. I wish him the best of luck.

That's one of the reasons I'm continually impressed with Darryl O'Young.  He seems to be able to attract serious outside sponsorship and is a fantastic driver at the same time.  One weekend he's running DTM in the Czech Republic, and the next weekend he's home going to church with his mom!

Chris is racing with Taylor and Mike Miller and a craftstman truck driver.  Taylor raced with us at Thunderhill in 2009 and ran with Carlos in Continental Tire last year...

You need to go to the official Grand Am web site. They have live timing and scoring for the sessions and an archived section for practices and qualifying already run.
