What steps are required to enter and run a vintage race at Mission?

I am talking about a 73 Brabham BT40 Formula B
  -It has a log book

I have an SCCA National licence and the other driver has a conference senior licence.

OK So I kind of knew this, but I did not realize exactly now much work was required to restore a 70's formula car!
Fuel cells replaced
Eery wire/Switch/sensor
All the brakes - everything
Every hose
Re-made an oil tank
Every rod-end
Shocks, springs, throttle linkage, steering wheel
belts, fuel pump, oil cooler, wing mount, wheel bearings

This was all in a car that ran!
Makes runnig a GT seem Cheap!

So far as vintage eligibility is concerned, for a Formula B with a log book you should pretty much be able to just show up and go racing.  Formula cars up to 1986 are now eligible in the REVS series.  An SCCA race license is fine.  I assume a Conference license is fine, too, but I confess I'm a bit ignorant about Conference.

Vintage eligibility and race tech are two separate things, so be sure that your car also complies with the CACC regs.  There are some exceptions for vintage cars, mainly in the area of roll bars.  Also, don't forget that a FHRD (e.g. Hans) is now required.  The CACC regs are published on their web site (http://caccautosport.org).

Note also that not every race weekend at Mission has a vintage class, although most do.  Check the calendar on the vintage club web site (http://www.vrcbc.ca).
