Newbie question: I've heard that the annual Tech inspection happens during the last weekend of the first driver training session - is that normally a Sat or a Sun thing (or both)? That leaves just over 9 weeks to get ready... Cheers, Darwin.

We (the Tech Crew) generally make ourselves available on the Sunday of the second weekend of the Driver's Training to do Annual Inspections.

We also do Annuals at race events. Just don't ask for one on a Friday evening, because that ain't gonna happen.

If you have a new car that has not been inspected previously, it's a great idea to bring it out on the DT weekend. We're happy to inspect it and that gives you time to correct any deficiencies we may find.
