Flooding? Mosquitoes? (Read 4,962 times)

Jun 19^th, 2012 at 4:13am Looking at the newspaper this morning I saw an article indicating the possibility of flooding in Chilliwack. So, who's been out to River's Edge this week and what are the conditions like? How are the mosquitoes (aside from "just fine, thanks"? Mike

Reply #1 - Jun 19^th, 2012 at 7:43am According to the River Forecast Centre website the river is projected to be 6.15m at Mission on Friday. The first flood watch is issued at 6m according to the website. Nothing on the City of Mission website about it though....

Reply #2 - Jun 19^th, 2012 at 8:17pm I don't think we have to worry until the river hits 7 metres at the Mission bridge and as the high water is around the next week or so I think we'll be OK; 'the winged invaders' are another story, but they normally don't come 'till the water level drops. I was at the track today and didn't get any bites.
