Scott and I leave tomorrow for Winterfest, a 6 race mini-series, 3 races at Sebring and 3 races at Palm Beach International Raceway, that kicks off the 2013 USF2000 Season. I'm sure Scott would appreciate your support. You can find him on Facebook (Scott Hargrove Motorsports), Twitter (@Scott_Hargrove), or you can email him directly at Scott 'at' ScottHargrove 'dot' com. We'll update here as the season progresses.

I ran the first of the SIMA Winter Series Go Kart races in Sumas today. I love the facility, had great fun racing and the weather was a fantastic bonus!
I didn't see you there but I saw Scott won some hardware; tuning up for your upcoming season no doubt!!
Good luck to you both in the 2013 season

Scott celebrated his 18th birthday by finishing on the podium in all 6 of the 2013 Cooper Tires USF2000 Winterfest races held at Sebring International Raceway and Palm Beach International Raceway this past week, winning one and finishing 2nd in the remaining five races. Scott was driving the #38 Analytic Systems/RaceEnergy/Metal Action USF2000 racecar for Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing.
The series kicked off February 5th and 6th with 3 races at Sebring International Raceway where Scott steadily closed the gap on his teammate Neil Alberico from an 8 second deficit in the first race to finishing on his teammate’s gearbox in the final race while also recording a faster race lap. Both drivers finished well clear of the remaining 18 competitors in all three races.
The series then moved to Palm Beach International Raceway for the remaining 3 races in the series where Scott qualified on the pole, and then proceeded to earn his first win in the hotly contested USF2000 series. Scott led all 20 laps but remained under pressure for the entire distance from teammate Neil Alberico.
The final two races at Palm Beach International Raceway on Sunday February 10th proved to be just as exciting as the leader, teammate Neil Alberico never had any breathing room with Scott keeping the pressure on throughout both 30 minute races, claiming second place in both races by less than one second.
The regular season for the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship will commence at Sebring International Raceway, in support of the 61st Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring endurance racing classic, on March 14-15.

Scott did very well at Sebring - qualifying on the pole for Race 1 with a new track record, and then led every lap to win race 1. Earned pole for Race 2 as well, but got jumped at the start and fell back to 3rd after first lap. Rebounded to finish in 2nd place.
On to St. Petersburg last weekend, and won the pole for both races and led every lap of both races to notch up 2 more wins. Massive lead in the points after only 4 races.
Lots of press - just google Scott Hargrove USF2000, or check out
