Car Condos - Is there a market here? (Read 1,811 times)

Apr 10^th, 2013 at 9:16am I had a proposal come across my desk for a Car Condo development in Cleveland, OH, and it included the following video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B3hYxX0Dn8. Cool concept, but I wonder with the high cost of land here if this could happen here.

Reply #1 - Apr 10^th, 2013 at 1:49pm I'd suggest that the infrastructure costs would be prohibitive. You'd need a racing circuit and garages, as well as luxury condos. It would be very expensive and it might not sell well.

There are other, simpler, ideas out there, but considering the price of LAND around here, I can't imagine it making sense. Then again, there doesn't appear to be a shortage of wealthy people with fancy cars in Vancouver, so who knows!

No race track, just a whole bunch of garages, a clubhouse, etc. But in Vancouver, unless you head to the boonies, I don't think you can buy a piece of land 40x80 for less than half a million Cheesy
