When I heard that he had fallen 30ft I had to go back and watch the video that showed where he had gone ever so slightly off-piste for a few turns in the fresh snow. It obviously meant he had traveled 30 feet before he either impacted the rock or afterward. There was no where to "fall" 30 feet on that portion of the run. A very sad way to come to terms with one's mortality.

Global is reporting Shuey may be slowly waking up. I don't generally like to report unsubstantiated reports but I'm hoping this one is true.
