Steve Young past away quietly Sunday evening. As most of you know Steve and his blue #88 FV (yellow wheels) was a staunch supporter of SCCBC and participated in all but a few of the races at Mission Raceway Park since 2006/2007. He'll be sorely missed. More details soon.

A genuine gentleman always a pleasure to chat with him.
He rented one of my cars to do driver training after his fine hot rod was rejected by tech as not suitable (no proper roll bar).
At my suggestion he rented a Vee for one of his novice races and loved it; he quickly became a front runner!
The absence of blue 88 will leave a large hole in the Vee grid. Cry
