Well, we can't expect to go from beginner to brilliant in just two days, but thanks to all the volunteers (and our active imaginations  ) we are nearly there and ready to go racing.   What a great weekend this June driver training session was.  Thank you to the RDC and all the safety and corner workers and all the other volunteers for their time and effort.  It must have been lonely out there on the corners, with the only entertainment being those goofy drivers, eh?  There were some laughs (don't ask, its too embarrassing),  some thrills, some mosquitoes, some black flags and lots of smiles (and giggles during solo laps if I'm honest).  It was great, just great.

You can get involved in lapping at Mission Raceway with any street legal hard top (no convertibles without a CACC legal roll bar). Check links from this website for clubs or organizations, it's a great way to learn the track and prepare you for an amateur racing career .
