Controlled mayhem in turn 2
Aug 24th, 2015 at 4:24pm

Congratulations to all the Vee and Ford drivers who calmly weathered a perfect storm with no serious issues through turn 2 during the last lap of the last race of the vintage weekend (Aug 22-23). Thanks especially to the old pros like Keith and Al for having the presence of mind to make room where there really wasn't any to spare. Catch the video here.

The only casualty of that instance was Paul's grease cap... Poor thing never saw it coming!

So that's what it looked like from behind! Keith and Al weren't the only 'oldtimers' making space for you guys. That race was a lot of fun. Thanks to everybody.

Exceptional racing, fantastic display of amateur racing at it's best. Wish I'd seen more of it, I had my eyes closed!!
Well done Robbie, fast and smooth just like the text book says Smiley. Please stay out of FFord for a year or two, I hate being beaten by novices Sad.!!

Look at how much fun open wheel is if that was sedans you would have bumpers fenders and doors all twisted up.
It doesn't get closer than that look at what you are missing. Grin

Wanted more formula ford drivers Wink

Alan
