Support E-CREW
Sep 6th, 2015 at 9:58pm

The Firesuits that E-crew have are getting worn and tattered.

They are looking to PURCHASE about 15 NEW SUITS which will include the SAFETY CAR AND DOCTOR CAR persons.  Frank atD RIVERS EDGE can get an OMP SAFETY SUIT for them but the cost per suit is around $1000 per suit with embroidery
SCCBC AND CACC have both pledged fund towards these firesuits  BUT STILL MORE IS NEEDED!!!
COMPANY LOGOS CAN BE PUT ONTO THE SUITS AT A MINIMUM $1000 DONATION (Depends on the size)

E-crew has kept may Drivers safe and now its time to help keep these volunteers safe.

PLEASE DONATE WHAT YOU CAN.  ALL DONATIONS WILL GO TOWARDS THE SUITS

I have extended the offer until November 8, 2015 to try & help get the E-Crew fund over the $3000 mark. These guys do a fantastic job each & every race weekend to keep everyone safe & being able to do what they love.

50% of all downloads & photo proceeds until November 8, 2015 will be donated to the SCCBC Mission Raceway E-Crew to help them replace their worn & tattered firesuits

I heard that SCCBC put $2000 toward the purchase of new E-Crew suits and it was matched by CACC. Any truth to that?

There is a standing commitment by both SCCBC and CACC to each support this initiative with a total of $6000.00. I'm not sure what total the crew is looking for.

So between SCCBC, CACC and GoFundMe, that's a total of $9000+. At $750/suit, that would buy 12 suits. Can someone clarify how many are needed and how much they cost? Looking at the GoFundMe site, I thought it was the sole funding source for these suits. No mention of the great support from SCCBC and CACC.

Hopefully these guys will have enough now to get what they need. They do a great job and need to look professional while doing it. BTW, Brent Martin, your contribution to this cause is outstanding.

I was told that they were looking to buy 12 suits. I believe Frank at Drivers Edge offered to cut them a deal on suits. Not sure on cost of a decent suit with custom embroidery. I have always bought off the rack.

My understanding is that they need approx. $12000-$15000 to buy the suits for all e-crew, including the doctors and tow truck driver. I think the suits were the old Champ car E-crew design and are about $1000 each . If there is some money left over they will purchase gloves.....
there is also some more money raised by E-crew themselves and another person who has offered a larger amount of $$ support.
If all this comes together they will have enough
