Favor requested of Spec Miata owners

I'm interested in getting a Spec Miata but being a tall fellow (6'3") and not terribly flexible, I have some doubts about fit. I would like to ask if there are any SM owners in BC who have cars that are modified for tall drivers, and please could I try sitting in your car?
Call Ron at 604 five three nine two five eight three (Langley)
thanks

Hi Ron. I'm out of town for a few weeks, but I could accommodate your request when I return. I'm 6'1", and with the proper modification, you could probably fit. A new rule was just added this year allowing floor pan lowering, which I'll probably do after the April races. There are also methods for building your cage, to maximize space (which I didn't do, and really should have). I also run with my seat bolted directly the floor, with no padding. It's definitely doable, and I can give you more tips in person when I'm back.
