The Westwood Kating Association is looking for turn workers for its Inaugural Western Canadian Road Race GP at Mission Raceway Park Sat Oct 16th.  They are planning on an 8:30 AM start of practice, which follows the drivers meeting at 8:15 AM and the turnworkers meeting at 8:00 AM.  You can find further information updates that they will post on their website, www.westwoodkarting.org or the pdf posted at http://meta.bc.ca/META_forum/Attachments/78756-2010RoadRacePkg.PDF. Contact Stan Crocker through the Westwood Kating Association web site if you are panning on volunteering, they would like to get an idea of how many turnworkers to expect. They need workers for all 8 Mission turn stations as well as someone to record kart/driver weights at the scales and someone to announce at race control.
