It's good stuff.. Slightly better than "normal" DOT4 for not a huge price difference. It's probably right at the point of diminishing returns, higher temp fluids cost a lot more money.
We used it on the volvo (not a light car..) at the 24h of LeMons in 2009, went through a set of pads pretty quickly, but no problem at all with the fluid.
I also used it for my driver training on the heavy arse volvo wagon with pretty aggressive pads (carbotech XP8's, I believe), had no hints of any brake troubles. I use it on all my street cars as well, just cause a bottle goes a long way.. Same with the vee, it's overkill, but I have plenty of it left!
Of course, the great thing about ATE fluid is, next time, you can buy a bottle of the gold stuff - which is exactly the same fluid, but a different color hehe. Makes flushing pretty easy, you'll know exactly when you've replaced the old fluid completely. And it gives a nice splash of color to an otherwise bland engine bay! Ok, that was a joke.
