Visit to LeMay Museum, Tacoma - Oct 29th
Oct 20th, 2011 at 4:42pm

The VRCBC has organized a day trip to visit the LeMay Family Collection in Tacoma on Saturday, October 29th. (Check their web site: www.LeMayMaryMount.org and click on the Collection tab to see what they have.) This is open to everyone – not just VRCBC members. First come, first served.

We will have a chartered bus leaving from a parking lot (lots of free parking) at the intersection of King George Blvd and Highway 99, at approx. 6:00 AM and returning by approx. 8:00 PM. The cost is $125.00 per person. This includes: return bus fare, entry to the Museum at Marymount (approx. 600 cars), including a couple of rooms not normally open to the public, catered lunch, choice of a souvenir t-shirt or hat, and entry to the family's home compound (with approx. another 250 cars plus several collections of other items), which is located about 10 minutes from the museum. Payment can be by cash or cheque payable to the Vintage Racing Club of B.C. Remember that a Passport or Enhanced Driver’s License is required.
To book a seat or for any questions, contact Al Reid directly by email: rugby1@telus.net or phone: (604) 690-4222.
