Sad news - Andy Porterfirld has recently passed away - he was 80.  Andy was a long-time west coast racer in a Corvette and then in tube frame camaros with SCCA and IMSA in the eighties and nineties.  He was 3rd o/a in the last T/A race at Westwood in 1980 (my last Westwood race).

He was twice SCCA National Champion in a Corvette, an SCCA executive, and won hundreds of races starting in the fifties.

You probably know him best thru the family business "Porterfield Brake Products".
