I'm sure it'll be something along the lines of (after removing the plugs) turning it by hand to make sure it moves freely, cranking it for a while until you get oil pressure and then turning the ignition on, but.. Might be worth a call to one of the kent builders like Ivey or something?

You need to prime the engine with oil this can be done by remove the oil pressure gauge line on the side of the block take a clean oil can put some fuel hose on the end of the can stick the other end on the oil pressure guage fitting on the block then start pumping clean oil into the block this will prime the bearings and rockers. Pump about half a pint of oil  will prime it.

I have an AccuSump system for sale or I may lend it to you for a small gift (beer!). You can use this to pressurize the oil system.
Where are you located?
What is the Kent engine in?

Everyone,

Just to let you know, I've closed the deal on Scott Morrison's Van Diemen RF89, and it is now in Delta next to Bob Williams's race shop.

I'm honestly not sure, Keith.

I want to take my time getting the car ready—checking everything, but my plan is for next spring as early in the year as possible.
