Wow, wonder if it has anything to do with the 236 entries for this weekend at the Ridge?  Shocked

From the text of the message from OR, YES! It seemed that the consensus was everyone had pretty well spent their budget for this year.

Only 45 minites total per race in track time could have been an issue!
It was to be one qualifying and then the race - period
     -No pracitce.
Compare this to Conference's 90 minutes over 4-sessions!
     -Conference will win every time.
CASC gets 3 sessions per race at 55 Minites I think???
Also San Fransisco Region Regionals get 75Min per race

Ridge is new and exciting so I agree that this was a huge issue as well.

Take Note race organizers
- Racers have options and they will go where they are
   treated the best.

For CACC races at Mission racers always get a double race weekend for the same price, or less, ICSCC racers get for a single race weekend. CACC racers get 100 minutes per race weekend for entering one class.

And that is one reason I love the CACC weekends Grin

No brainer; ALL day practice and qualifying for an amateur race  ???
CACC two race weekends are the way to go. A lot of ICSCC guys that have been to MRP like the format too. SCCBC tried it a couple of years ago and it was successful.
I think it is only the 'old guard' south of the border that maintain the one race format. Especially with the US economy the way it is I just don't understand the logic. I believe the ICSCC single race weekend at MRP was the lowest car count this year Undecided.

Double race weekends are much more fun IE. 3 sessions a day plus when your on a budget i rather use up my equipment racing rather than qualifying twice for one race.

really do want to go to the ridge though.
