Oct 8th Novice race
Sep 26th, 2022 at 5:31pm

Hi all.  I was planning on entering this event.  Do you know where to get my car and safety equipment tech'd?  Is that just on Saturday morning or should it be done before hand?  Also, I'm in the Novice Closed wheel, running a GT car.  It has a log book from vintage racing in the USA, so I'm assuming that's OK.

Thanks so much !!

We would have to know what kind of car and who issued the Log Book to start with. There will be Tech on the Friday night before the event. From about  5 to 7.

Yes, Tech Saturday a.m. starting at about 7:15.

It will be tight as you have the Novice Track walk in there, as well. Better to bring it early Friday evening.

Thanks for the info!  Also, what about the rules for seatbelts ?  Is it legal to use past the expiry date?

And, for the fire supression system, is it also legal to use past the expiry date?  I heard it was a few years past the date but not sure.

Thanks!

NO!!!

Refer to the CACC regulations at https://www.caccautosport.org/ for proper info on both of these items. Outdated belts and/or fire suppression systems will NOT be acceptable.

Thank You
