Ridge Motorsport Park (Shelton)

Here is the website for the Ridge Motorsport Park in Shelton. They DO NOT have all their final approvals, yet, but things look very good. They are going ahead with some of the work on the facility as you can see from their website.

http://www.ridgemotorsportspark.com/

The covering e-mail is as follows:

[i]We would like to announce that our website is live.  www.ridgemotorsportspark.com

We were going to wait until after the hearing examiners decision but decided we needed to have a place to put up News and
information.

There has been some misinformation out there.  Please see the news section for information on our current progress.

Again, thank you for all of your support.

Thomas and Lynn also announced at the META meeting that the track at Shelton has 'dozers' working on it as we write. The plan is to have tarmac down by the end of this year!

Subject: Special Use Permit

It seems that our grassroots philosophy has worked for getting the word out!

Most of you are aware that the Special Use Permit was approved for us to operate a race park at our location in
Shelton, WA.  Since that announcement by our ever faithful supporters, we have been inundated with Emails, Website
Posts, Facebook Comments and Phone Calls.

Oye!  If you don't get a return on an email question, don't feel snubbed, just can't type that fast!

We would like to thank everyone for their supportive comments and enthusiasm for this project and facility.  We have a
huge amount of work to do to get this project done in time to book 2012 events.

We are currently working with the Mason County Building Department for permits required to begin work on the racing
surface (road track, drag strip).  We have completed most of the clearing work and are planting grasses etc. for the
gopher habitat.  We are also doing a small amount of logging.

Keeping your nose to the grindstone, your ear to the ground, and your shoulder the wheel, well, not so easy unless your a 12
year old gymnast!
Check out the post on our website   http://www.ridgemotorsportspark.com/newspost/special-use-permit-approved/

Man, you know, this might really happen after all those failed attempts at a new track. Just saw the newly posted videos showing the clearing equipment at work, it's really progressing.
