I'm toying with the idea of building an electric powered race car.  Since we commonly build to a specific class, I'm wondering how to class or categorize such a car.  I don't have a specific vehicle in mind to begin with as I don't have a car at present and will consider any production based type or sports racing type.  I've had a look through the CACC GCR and find that all classes assume some sort of gasoline engine, so to me it looks like some new rule will have to be invented in order to accommodate an electric powered vehicle.  Anybody know any more about the idea?
