July 24-25 was hot, on track and off. This event welcomed back spectators and they came. Gate admission was by donation to the Mission Hospice Society and it seems folks were generous. Along with the two 50/50 draws the society brought in approx $4000 for the weekend.
Just a reminder for future events that spectators arriving at the front gate for SCCBC events, driving a Mazda vehicle, your admission is paid for! This is courtesy of Mazda Canada. Just another reason to drive a fine Mazda product.
Getting back to the racing, we had an increase in car count especially boosted by the number of Novice drivers and Vintage class entries. We hope this trend continues for CACC #3 on the Labour Day long weekend. Mark this weekend on your calendar and include it as part of summer fun.
